Michaela is in charge of administration and accounting. She holds a BA Degree in Tourism Management. Before returning home to Berlin, she has lived in Japan to where she regularly returns.

What place in Japan do you find most enjoyable to spend your leisure time at?
Joining some free time with the participants in the evening at Karaoke bar and discovering the area.

Being in contact with different people who are interested in travelling and seeing from their feedbacks that they had a nice time.

Enjoying my free time with a hot bath at an Onsen (public bath).

Kushikatsu (Deep fried food on sticks) from Osaka & Soup Curry from Sapporo are my favourite food in Japan. Good restaurants serving these dishes can also be found in Tokyo.
What should participants coming to Tokyo make sure not to miss?
What should participants coming to Tokyo make sure not to miss?
Going to a Matsuri in a traditional yukata. Climbing up Tokyo's nearby mountain Takao, from where you can see Mount Fuji during sunny days. Going to an onsen with outside bath. It's the best!
Do you have any hobbies or special interests, and where can you do your hobbies in Japan?
Do you have any hobbies or special interests, and where can you do your hobbies in Japan?
My hobby is horseriding. I can do it in the outbacks of Japan, for example in the mountains of Hokkaido. Escpecially in Tokyo I enjoy discovering bands of Japanese rock music at live concerts.
What is the most memorable episode that you have experienced with World Unite! participants?
