Electives abroad

 

 

Since 2006 we have been arranging electives, final year rotations, nursing internships, physiotherapy internships, occupational therapy internships, midwifery internships, pharmaceutical internship, pre-medical/pre-nursing/pre-midwivery placements, and alternative medicine internships such as acupuncture and ayurveda at hospitals, clinics and dispensaries in various countries.

 

Several thousand students were able to successfully do their electives and medical/nursing internships for university credit. For final year rotations we cooperate with several teaching hospitals of medical faculties.

 

* Countries: Tanzania, Zanzibar, Ghana, Morocco, India, China, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Bolivia
* Departments: Interiour medicine, pediatrics, surgery, gynaecology, ENT, dental medicine, ophtamolopy and many others (depending on hospitals)
* Also including outpatient departments, dispensaries and clinics

 

 

1. You can choose your preferred hospital from our website (from the top menu choose "Internships & Volunteering">"Medicine and Healthcare"> and let us know the requirements of your university/college so that we can check whether those requirements can be fulfilled at your hospital of choice.

 

Or you let us know your preferred country/continent and your university's/college's requirements and we will recommend a suitable hospital

 

2. Duration is usually flexible from 2 weeks (depending on the hospital)

 

3. After you have emailed us the required application documents (depending on the hospital; we will infom you), we usually get confirmation from the hospital within a few days. We don't charge you anything for this and there is no obligation for you. Should your first choice not be available, we will suggest alternative options. You decide whether you will accept the elective/internship.

 

4. We will take care of having the forms filled that you need to get credit for your university/college, before and after the elective/internship.
