Madaha is providing support to our participants in Daressalam. Originally from the south of Tanzania, he came to Daressalam, Tanzania's largest city, a couple of years ago. He is an accountant and tax advisor by profession and is therefore very well organized and gives attention to details.
What do you enjoy the most about working at World Unite!?
Learning when meeting new people from different cultures around the globe, I always learn new things from visitors.
What place in Daressalam do you find most enjoyable to spend your leisure time at?
Coco Beach and Kigamboni beach in Dar es Salaam.
What is your favorite local food, and where can it be found?
Ugali samaki, pilau and chipsi mayai or mishikaki. It can be found at every corner in Dar es Salaam
What should participants coming to Daressalam make sure not to miss?
The cultural market places (Mwenge or slipway) together with beaches, and Mbudya Island
Do you have any hobbies or special interests, and where can you do those in Daressalam?
My hobbies include literature and arranging and carrying out training workshops for small scale entrepreneurs. When I am not busy with World Unite! I provide workshops about topics such as taxation law, finances and others.
What is the most memorable episode that you have experienced with a World Unite! participant?
The memorable episode was when one of the participants attended my wedding. It was a very enjoyable moment.
