I enjoy very much bringing the food, watching out for the tents and teaching Swahili to volunteers. Above all, I enjoy taking care of them and to know that they are fine. I like to make the volunteers feel at home.

What place in Zanzibar do you find most enjoyable to spend your leisure time at?

I like to spend my leisure time at the forest Camp and at Paje beach.

What is your favorite local food, and where can it be found?

My favourite foods are bananas, pineapple and papaya, you can find them all in Kitogani.

What should participants coming to Zanzibar make sure not to miss?

First of all, a local food named Cassava, and secondly, Jozani Forest.

Do you have any hobbies or special interests, and where can you do these in Zanzibar?

I like to improve my English skills, and to take care of the guests in the camp.

What is the most memorable episode that you have experienced with a World Unite! participant?

I remember teaching Swahili to a group of volunteers from Germany. I really like that when they return home, they take the Kiswahili culture with them and they can teach others as well.
