Online Internship in Marketing, Communication, and PR from Japan

Comparable to the "home office" work style, you can complete an online internship with a Japanese company through video conferencing, instant messaging, and email from a distance.

Your internship will take place with (start-up) companies from Tokyo, Japan, that operate in an international context. Examples include import-export companies, international schools, or tourism companies offering services to foreign tourists in Japan.

Activities for the online internship in communication and marketing may include supporting social media marketing, writing blog posts, contributing to website content in English and other languages, translations, search engine optimization, sales support, market research, and business development activities such as researching potential partners.

The internship can be conducted in English, but if you speak another language such as Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, or French, there are often opportunities to use these languages during your internship.

You can determine the intensity (6-40 hours per week) yourself. There will be fixed times (at least 2 hours per week) during which you will meet online with your internship supervisor, receive tasks, and get qualified feedback on your activities. The rest of the time, you work independently. The scope of tasks will be adjusted to your desired weekly hours.
