You can book affordable German language courses at a small, friendly language school in Berlin. There are many start dates for group courses from beginner level (A1.1) to advanced level (C1.2), part-time or full-time.
Description

German Language Courses in Berlin, Germany

You can choose between the group intensive course (4x per week) or the group part-time course (2x per week). Both courses are offered for levels A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, and C1.2. Each level is completed within 48 lessons, and you can then proceed with the next higher level. If you already have German language skills, you can take a placement test and join a course that suits you.


Intensive Course (Morning/Afternoon)

This course takes place 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday), with 3 lessons x 45 minutes per day. The class times are either 8:45-11:15 or 11:40-14:10, depending on the course level.

In this course, you will complete the 48 lessons of a course level within 4 weeks.


Part-Time Course (Evening)

The part-time course takes place 2 days a week (either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday), with 3 lessons x 45 minutes per day, from 7:15 PM - 9:40 PM.

In this course, you will complete the 48 lessons of a course level within 8 weeks.


Teaching Materials

The language school uses the following textbooks, which are not included in the program costs. You can purchase your textbooks yourself online or in a bookstore, or directly at the language school.

  • "Schritte Plus" (1-6) for levels A1.1 to B1.2
  • "Sicher! In Alltag und Beruf!" for levels B2.1 to C1.2

Who can join

Anyone with a self-arranged visa, or who does not need a visa can participate in the language courses in Berlin. We cannot provide any documents for visa applications.

Program start

There are fixed start dates for 2025:

Intensive course: April 1, April 29, May 27, June 24, July 22, August 19, September 16, October 14, November 10, December 1.
Part-time course: May 12 or 13, July 7 or 8, September 1 or 2, October 27 or 28 (depending on whether you book the Monday+Wednesday or Tuesday+Thursday schedule).

You travel to Berlin, Germany. 

Visa

  • EU citizens do not require a visa.

Participation is also possible with a Working Holiday Visa, Youth Mobility Visa, and other visas for Germany. We cannot issue any documents for visa applications.

Accommodation Options

You can book accommodation through us, but you don't have to. As an extra, you can book accommodation in a high-quality studio apartment.

Studio apartments in Berlin

The apartment features a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, and kettle, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Towels, Wi-Fi, and TV are provided. You will get the documents that are required to register your residence, which is a prerequisite for employment and opening a bank account in Germany.
