International Marketing: Standardization vs. Adaptation along the 7Ps

This program guides students through a case study where a familiar product from their home country is to be introduced into two different foreign markets. We will go through the 7 Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, People, Physical Evidence, and Process). It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of standardization vs. customization along each P. Within the session, students work interactively on small tasks and presentations. This can be followed up by two sessions led by an Indian business consultant who assists foreign brands in accessing the Indian market, using real-life case studies with the students.
