The program includes visits to tech companies, training and research institutes, and innovative startups. You will have the chance to engage with industry experts, and experience the technologies shaping tomorrow. Whether you are a group of engineering, IT students, or simply fascinated by the future, this program offers an insider's look at Tokyo's dynamic innovation ecosystem.

Activities to choose from:
Visit to Shibaura Institute of Technology, specialising in robotics and lecture about technological innovation at the Shibaura Institute of Technology, specialising in robotics. Visit student clubs and projects.
Visit a gaming design studio in Shibuya. They consult brands in the use of games and play as a powerful way to communicate, design the games, often using emerging platforms, program prototypes, and then often work with larger studios for the final implementation of the games. Talk with game designers and learn about their work.
Meet a company specialising in the development of XR (Extended Reality) contents, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), particularly for the Metaverse; Mixed Reality (MR), and everything in between. Learn about the company and recent trends in how these technologies are used in Communication Design.
Visit of and talk with young entrepreneurs at a startup hub
Visit to Earthquake Learning Centre Ariake, Kawasaki Robostage, National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, seeing Odaiba Modern Architecture; TeNQ Space Museum, Tokyo Skytree; National Museum of Nature and Science, Gas Science Center, Nitrogen Museum, TeamLab Borderless media art museum
Akihabara Electric Town afternoon guided tour with a maid through electronics and gaming-related, manga/anime, collectibles and cosplay-related shops in Akihabara including Super Potato, which has a collection of retro computer games from the 70s to 90s
Cultural activities at the World Unite! City Hub: Kimono makeup and dressing experience, Chirimen Craft Workshop, Shibori Dyeing, Kintsugi, Calligraphy, Onigiri Making Workshop and others
Language exchange (English-Japanese) with Japanese youth at the World Unite! City Hub
Tour through the Tokyo bayside Landfill, learning about how Tokyo deals with the massive amount of waste (duration 2 hours, including the Central Breakwater Landfill Site and Waste Treatment Facility + Explanation at the Environment Bureau Central Defense Joint Government Building)
Sega Joypolis, a virtual reality indoor Theme Park

Depending on the group size and our booking status, at our share accommodation (4- to 8-share dorm rooms) in Koto-Ku or Warabi; or at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center in Shibuya
Note: accommodation at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center needs to be booked 1 year in advance!
Meal options:
In case of our sharehouses: breakfast and dinner catered at the communal spaces of the sharehouse
In case of the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center: breakfast and dinner at the canteen

3 nights/4 days program (based on 20-30 students): 69,000 JPY + 10% VAT per person
Included: all program activities; local transport; Japanese-English interpretation; accommodation as described; meals as described; planting of 10 indigenous trees per program participant at Kilimanjaro for the CO2 compensation of long-haul flights
