Sports in Malta

Experience the passion of football (soccer) and the rich history of a Mediterranean island! Our program combines the world of sports with cultural immersion, set against the stunning backdrop of Malta.

This group program is for you if you are interested in playing football, coaching, or simply want to explore a new culture through the lens of its most beloved sport. It is designed as an adventure that combines your love for the game with a deep dive into the island's captivating history and vibrant lifestyle.

    • Live football match screenings (Premier League, Champions League, etc.)

    • Attend a local football match in the stadium

    • Friendly match with a local football team

    • National Stadium tour

    • Tour of a local football club

    • Visit to the Malta Football Museum

    • Visit to the local sports college

    • Gym visits with tour for the facilities, functional training & boxing class

    • Workshops on sports and coaching

    • Quiz nights

  • Cultural & Historical Excursions:

    • Valletta City Excursion: Includes 'The Malta Experience' audiovisual show and St. John’s Co-Cathedral

    • Gozo Island Excursion: Includes a visit to the Cittadella Museum

    • The Three Cities Excursion: Explore Birgu, Senglea, and Cospicua

    • Mdina & Rabat Excursion: Discover historic sites including the Domus Romana and Catacombs

    • South Malta Excursion: Discover the Blue Grotto and the fishing village of Marsaxlokk

    • Walking tour of Gżira and Sliema Harbour

    • Cultural visits: Tour Fort St. Angelo or the Malta Maritime Museum

Accommodation is provided in 4-5 bed dorms for students, and single rooms for accompanying teachers, at the NSTS Campus in Gżira
