"The American School in Japan's 9th-grade Humanities students took an environmental awareness trip with World Unite!. It was a fantastic adventure showcasing the importance of sustainable farming practices, permaculture, marine pollution's impact, and wildlife preservation. Set in a breathtaking island interior surrounded by rolling hills and rice paddies, we learned about the interconnectedness of agriculture, climate change, and human pollution. Through engaging with the local community, we witnessed farmers adopting conservation measures, such as reducing their reliance on chemicals and embracing permaculture, which benefits the environment and restores wildlife populations like the Crested Ibis. Exploring coastal areas and witnessing the effects of marine pollution further emphasized the need for sustainable practices. World Unite! created an engaging learning experience that inspired us to actively contribute to making a positive difference in the world."
– Courtney Carreon, teacher at ASIJ (American School in Japan, Tokyo)

"The International School of Geneva has had the pleasure of visiting World Unite camps in Zanzibar with small groups of 15-16 year old students twice. We have been really impressed by the environmental and sustainable nature of the camps, especially the new one in Matemwe. Their staff are all excellent, showing a natural affinity to working with young people and educating them about the local environment and culture. There is a wide variety of interesting activities and the food is great! We are really looking forward to another trip in 2024."
"We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for all the work that you and all your staff did for making our 2024 trip such a great success. Your staff were always super helpful, flexible and friendly, the students (and teachers!) had so many wonderful experiences."
– Justin Edwards, Secondary Math teacher, International School of Geneva
