We regularly hold events at the following World Unite! locations, where you as a participant in our programs can join either at no extra cost or at low prices that only cover entry fees or material costs.
Japanese people also participate in all our events in Japan, fostering cultural exchange. And you can be a part of it!

Cultural Workshops
Twice a month, we host workshops at the World Unite! City Hub in Tokyo such as:
Kimono-wearing
Traditional Kimono makeup
Calligraphy
Onigiri-making
Shibori dyeing
Onigiri-making
Chirimen craft
Kintsugi
Yukata-wearing
and more!
Similar workshops are held occasionally in Kyoto.
As a World Unite! participant, you receive a coupon code allowing you to join these workshops either for free or at a significantly reduced rate.
Social Meetup Events
Our monthly social meetup events usually attract many participants, including young Japanese people, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and making new connections! We go on exciting excursions around Tokyo, such as Kamakura, Yokohama, Kawagoe, or Mt. Takao, visit interesting spots in Tokyo like the Earthquake Learning Center, or gather for a picnic and games in a public park.
As a World Unite! participant, you get a coupon code that lets you join these programs either for free or for a small fee that covers entry costs.
Japanese-English Language Exchange
The Japanese-English language exchange takes place twice a month in person in Tokyo; once a month online and once a month in Kyoto. As a participant in our programs in Japan, you can join the online language exchange even before arriving in Japan. Participation is free for World Unite! program participants.
Twice a week, as a program participant, you can join Indian workshops we organize in Jaipur at no extra cost. If you want to participate more than twice a week, only a small additional fee applies.
The workshops include:
Hindi lessons (1 hour)
Bollywood dance (1 hour)
Indian cooking classes (2 hours)
Preparing Indian chai (45 min)
Henna tattoo painting (45 min)
Wearing Indian clothing (Sari) (1 hour)
Yoga (1 hour)
Indian board games like carrom and ludo (1 hour)
Preparing Indian snacks (1 hour)
In Moshi, Tanzania, we regularly offer cultural events, visits, and activities, which are either free for World Unite! program participants or available for a small fee, depending on the activity.
These activities include:
Traditional Tanzanian children's games like Rede, Chapara, Mdako, Takti
Cooking classes (e.g., ugali, pilau, chapati)
The art of Tanzanian Kanga wrapping and the Swahili messages behind each Kanga
World Unite! organic garden visit
Bonfire and storytelling under the moonlight. The stories, "Hapo Zamani za Kale," often include folklore, myths, and legends reflecting the cultural heritage of various Tanzanian tribes
Swahili language exchange day with native Swahili speakers

Sunset tour and picnic with the team
