Zanzibar Watersports is running two watersports centres in the North of Zanzibar. Both centres offer diving, fishing, snorkelling, dhow sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, parasailing and other watersports activities.

The diving centres have PADI 5* accreditation and offer the complete range of diving courses from beginner's level to Open Water Scuba Instructor for those who want to professionalize their skills.

One watersports centre is based at a luxury hotel, whereas the other one is located at a beach which is primarily used by younger and more budget-oriented tourists.

Volunteers will work at both locations. It is expected from them to have a professional mindset. They will be involved in sales, office administration, maintenance and inventary of equipment, as well as instructing watersports activities, depending on their skills.

You will be working 6 days per week. Unfortunately accommodation cannot be provided, but the centre offers free diving lessons to volunteers/interns.
