Image gallery Zanzibar and Tanzania

The 24 images of this sequence first show the spice island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean and then Tanzania mainland. 

Most our our participants travel to both Tanzania and Zanzibar, even when they are just staying at one of the two destinations for volunteering or an internship. Zanzibar is located just 2 hours by ferry or 20 minutes by aircraft off the coast of Dar-es-Salaam.

Our participant Celine from France has done a nice slide show animation about Uzi Island, a small islet south of Zanzibar's main island Unguja, where she spent one month volunteering in cultural tourism development.
