Clinical elective in Morocco
Clinical electives are possible in the "Clinique Asalaam" private hospita, the most modern and best clinic of Tangier. The clinic has been founded in 2007 by 4 Belgian physicians of moroccan origin, who have all studied in Belgium, and whose vision it was to establish a clinic of European standard in Tangier.
The clinic has department of paediatrics, orthopaedics & traumatology, gynaecology, cardiology, internal medicine, emergencies, nephrology and dialysis, general and plastic surgery as well as ophthalmology.
There are 3 operation wards. Around 400 children are born each year at the clinic. The ward has 30 beds.
English language skills are sufficient for this elective. French language is useful, but not a requirement.
