SAAM TV is a very modern television station with headquarters in Mumbai. The channel only started in 2008. At the moment, in marketg share, it is number 6 of the television channels in Marathi language, which is spoken in the state of Maharashtra.

 

The program consists of entertainment (Music, game shows, dance, cooking and hobby programs) and news (extensive coverage 3 times per day and short news 5-6 times per day). The young and dynamic channel is permanently gaining marketing share and is particularly popular at smaller and mid-sized cities, as it has the most comprehensive coverage of regional news of all television stations in Marathi language).

• News department. In the news department (35 permanent staff) you will write texts in English about regional and national news. Someone will translate them afterwards into Marathi. The Sakal Media Group to which SAAM TV belongs, also publishes several newspapers and websites. The texts will be used on various platforms and you can also assist in the content management of the news websites.
 
 
• Graphics, Animation, Post production, live editing. The channel is working with the latest technologies of television production for graphics, animation, post production and live editing. Interns with efficient skills of programs such as Final Cut Pro, Viz Artist, Maya, 3DMAX and VLZ Ticket can do an internship in television design and technologies. For the news department interns can also design static and animated infographics for the visualization of complex issues (statistics etc.)

 

• Make Up/Costume. An internship at the make-up/costume department is possible. The news anchormen and hosts of entertainment programs, as well as guests and stars (Indian singers and dancers) are being dressed and styled.
