Voluntourism -Travel and help for 1-3 weeks
You don't have enough time to stay for one or several months as a volunteer abroad? But you really want to help for instance at an orphan centre or a nursery school and at the same time explore your travel destination?
Our "Voluntourism" offers are the right choice for you!

There are two options for you:
1. Voluntourism itineraries
2. Voluntourism Hopper
Our 1-3 week "Voluntourism itineraries" combine "volunteering" with "tourism". You can choose a volunteering activity from the possible options which are specified below, for instance at an orphanage, a hospital, a farm, a nursery school or an organization dealing with handicapped children. From your overall stay, you will spend a couple of days at your volunteering organization and on the other days you will do exciting excursions, activities and visits.
You can start our voluntourism options at any date, however the rate
per person improves if several persons book together. During the
university semester breaks we offer fixed dates on which groups will be
formed with other participants - joining these groups will give you
lower rates for individual bookings.
"Voluntourism Hopper" doesn't include excursion, but allows you to combine several volunteering activities for 1-3 weeks each. You can of course also just choose one of them for a short term stay.
Special knowledge about the subject area you are volunteering in is not required for either option, if not explicitely mentioned. From the amount paid by you, in Tanzania and India, a donation of 50 USD will go directly to your volunteering organization (or 75 USD per week in the case of Mnazi Mmoja Hospital Zanzibar).
Accommodation during your volunteer activity will be at host families or in shared houses. During the travel part of your voluntourism package, you might stay in guest houses, hotels or even with local tribes such as the Maasai.
